Q. What are the new changes in NEET exam pattern made by NTA?

Ans. The duration of the NEET 2023 examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) and will be conducted from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST). NEET paper will have the choices of answering questions in one section of each subject. In NEET-UG paper, each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions (NEET New Exam Pattern). NTA made this change in exam pattern in order to rationalize the decision of different Boards across the country regarding the reduction of syllabus.

Q. Is adding extra 20 minutes to the NEET exam beneficial for students?

Ans. Yes, giving 20 minutes extra will allow students to read all the questions carefully and decide which question to attempt or leave in section B, that’s an advantage.
